Repeating Numbers (Dec 2009)
Hi, my name is John. I am looking for answers, as I have found after reading a bit of your web page so are many others, to why I have been seeing number patterns so regularly in my daily life. It is not limited to 222 or 333. Along with those numbers, it goes much more further than that too. I have been doing it since around 2004 and maybe even slightly before that. I have seen many repeating patterns of repeating numbers. I have seen 9's, as in 99999.9 on my vehicles odometer on a completely random viewing of it.
Usually it is on clocks. 5:55 or 18:18 if it is set to 24 hrs. Just about any repeating pattern of numbers on a clock I have seen over and over again daily. It has been an ongoing thing in my family for me to say the numbers I see out loud to show people around me at the time, how weird it is. Just about anyone that is with me has witnessed it and is usually in awe.
444 seems to be something that I, and this is just a guess to try to figure out a meaning to the pattern, have noticed happens when something bad is to happen. 222 seems to be good. Maybe it is coincidence, but it has happens so many times that I cant even begin to count. I have not had a watch on my wrist for some time to see how random it is. It can no longer be a random event with the specific circumstances on when and where I see the patterns anymore. I can walk into a room and there on the clock...333 or 10:10 or what ever. I will wake from a nap and look at the clock and yes, as you guessed it, it will be a repeating pattern.
Any ideas, and is there many like me that see so many different patterns? Thanks for your time, hope to hear back from you.
Elaborating on event associations with the numbers I see is still very questionable even to myself. The most recent occurrence was a month or so ago. My wife recently had a close friend pass away in our home state. We no longer live there so she made arrangements to fly back and bring our son with her. As she was telling me this news, I happen to glance at the microwave digital clock as I was walking into the kitchen where she called me in to tell me the news. It read 4:44 pm. I had an overwhelming feeling of something bad, but not from the news she was telling me. I did not know the person who passed away so I did not have any feelings one way or another. This feeling scared the hell out of me. The rational side told myself to ignore it and to let events happen as they may. Less than two days later when my wife was away she called me with terrible pains in her stomach. These symptoms where her having a miscarriage. During the time away my son
hurt his leg very badly and had to be rushed to the hospital. Upon her arrival home I noticed 2:22 and 22 seconds or 222 in different ways many times during that day. The fear was gone and life went back to normal.

We are researching this phenomena and have not come to a clear and concise hypothesis. One web surfer suggested visiting Doreen Virtue's website as she claims that all numbers are from angels and has made a science out of the number phenomena. We have not done so on this site, we are gathering information and are still engaged in in our research. However, the angel theory might be interesting for you to look into.
Amazing 9 digit number
My name is Roger and I am 41 years old. I was 5. I and my family were on our road to visit our grand-pa. I was leaning against the window looking outside. Zooming in to the drops on the glass of the car-window and blurring that, zooming out looking to the road signs.. I remember (sense) how was the first and hot flash in my mind when a number on one of the signs has burned its shape to my mind like a laser-stamp. It was only a second or less, but was enough for the number 143854932 to sneak into my brain. It's still there. When ever I am with a puzzle built up numbers or just with a paper that has these numbers,, some think stars happening and this number makes its self up. Like a screen inside my mind, I see the number 143854932 and at the same time I see the paper and only the numbers and their places at the same time. Since Its now a learned thing of my brain.. It keeps doing this. I tried so many different exercises to get rid of it. No way. But what I realized was that if I try to make the number up before it comes up then for a long time period, which is enough for me to enjoy reading, nothing happens. It like, if you call it leaves you and if you deny it, it eats you 8) Funny though 8)

We added those numbers up 143854932 = 39 and can be distilled down to 3+9 = 12 !

I've always been a math geek, and I suppose that was the root to my looking for numbers. I've heard often of significance attached to numbers, religiously, speculatively, and it all sunk in with a disbelief like most raw theories do. What really got me though, was when I started seeing figureheads using numbers in their craft. Government, entertainment, religion, they all use certain numbers as symbols of their beliefs or desires...or maybe just to subliminally effect their crowds, I don't know. I don't have a number...I've been through the whole thing, many number sets.
What I've come to find, is the same conclusion offered in the movie '23'. Ultimately...numbers are everywhere, so if you think one is 'Your' number, then the hundreds of times you see it everyday are suddenly going to be significant to you, and you think your on to something. 'Magical thinking' they call it.
Numbers and mathematics are a finite abstraction of reality that give us the ability to associate value unlike any other of our useful human abstractions...and I think that their definitely lies some unique and interesting patterns within this system...but just seeing a number on a day o day basis will drive you crazy if you think that one number is gods voice, or important in a manner other than random.
Another thing to be considered...the human mind is the most amazing thing I've ever studied, and it should be known that the subconscious does a whole lot more computation than your aware of. If your convinced that there's some significance in seeing this number...then your biological clock will tune n to the various times of day that you consistently feel this feeling of discomfort and wonder...which could lead you to try and see it again. Be careful what you tell yourself!
Then again...I haven't lived long enough to disprove anything, so don't assume anything that you can't rightfully assume, enjoy your numbers.

I see the number 1234 on the clock everyday. Even though I don't wear a watch, it still see the time displayed either on computer, a radio, or even ask the time and get told "12:34". It doesn't matter if it is daylight savings time or not.
I have no recollection of when this started, but it happens everyday.

I see numbers all day in sets of 2,3 or more but some single digits stand out more like today I was seeing 7,9,6,2,3,8,5 but they were paired and I would see one number that would stand out more ill see them on everything and to days midday cash3 game was 399 and eve was 729 I saw 7 after the midday all day long 2 all day long 9 all day long but like I said it would be like 82 or 76 or 59 and so on but I would catch the 7 first in the set or the 2 will stand out in a set first things like that these numbers keep showing up in the lotto its happing everyday.
Here's one. . . I was watching HEROS and the number in the show showed up on a door 618 so I went in the kitchen and wrote it down then looked at the clock and it was 918 so I was like 6 turned upside down is 9 and I said I'll play that in the morning for midday cash3 well I was at my moms the next day doing taxes and I looked at the clock it was 12:30 and I said I should go play but I kept doing taxes at 4:00 I looked at the cash3 midday numbers and it was 189 I would have played it on a combo 6 way this is happing all the time why

I decided to search the web today on the topic of seeing what I have given the name "seeing sequential numbers". I was surprised to find out that I am far from alone in experiencing this phenomenon. My story: About five years ago in November, my Father died at the age of 81 years ago as a result of a severe stroke. It seems from about that time I started to see numbers in sequence on a regular basis. When I say numbers in sequence, I mean like 3:33, 4:44, 12:34, 4:56, 1:11, 2:22, 3:45, etc. I see them mostly on digital clocks. As best as I can describe, for no apparent reason I decide to look at the clock. It is not usually when I need to know what time it is rather almost like someone whispered to me "hey, look at the clock". I have told myself that maybe my subconscious mind sees the numbers in my peripheral vision and that I notice for that reason.
That is how I have justified it most of the time, but the times that are kind of cool and spooky a the same time are when I will be woken up out of a sound sleep only to look a the clock to see what time it is and it will be like 1:23, 2:34, 4:44 etc. I have thought maybe it is my Father trying to communicate with me or tell me he is OK, but I am really not sure at all. I wish I knew what it is all about because it feels strange to keep seeing them, but not know what to do about it. I saw somebody wrote about the number 21, Wesley, I guess his name is, wrote that he sees the number 21 everywhere... and its starting to get out of hand. Well ironically im having the same problem... what is also ironic is im born on April 21st .. like him im also going to be 21 on April 21st

Thank you for writing and sharing your story about your recurring number. Honestly, there never will be an answer as to why we each have a number that circles us. I totally can relate to your constantly seeing your number. Mine haunts me daily, as yours has and enough for your boyfriend to notice it to. I believe (want to) that our numbers cross over with us when were born, My number is my birthday, and I have a twin so it's times 2. I didn't notice mine until my mother died and the coroner was taking her from my house. When I looked at the time it was 4:24. I think when there is a change in ones life is when the number(s) are more prominent. There's a lot more of us out there and that's why Elaine and I created this website so others like you, and I can share our stories and be believed. Please keep us updated, and post any new occurrences that happen. We can add it to your story as we do to ours. Just let us know it is you.

I can see a similar numbers whenever I look at the time
e.g.
12:12
11:11
15:51
15:15
13:13
22:22
14:14
and so on. This started I assuming since the beginning of 2008 and it happens too often
lately.. almost every time I look at the time (not deliberately) i see these combinations.
can you please explain?

Hello, the first thing I thought of is you're seeing double digits. I don't have an answer why you see the numbers you do. We all would like an answer. Do you see one set more than the others? Does one set have any meaning, more meaning? Tell us more about your numbers. Can a set be related to a birthday, marriage, death, accident, near death experience? Please everyone keep us updated.
One day will be huge and all over the media. So, please continue to share your story.
